PROGRAM METHODOLOGY & TOOLS

CIUK offers a unique and highly engaging way to learn vital business concepts. Our certificate and credential programs are offered via our innovative Methodology and are designed to bring the CIUKclassroom to you—putting you at the center of the learning experience. Our flexible, programs are designed to bring the Cardiff Institute classroom to you, and are built around three key characteristics: What sets CIUKapart? Our learning model is built around three key characteristics: active, case-based, and social.

How it Works?

The program focuses on the essential business concepts and needed analytical tools using a combination of a business simulation and interactive lectures and discussions. As participants are introduced to a number of modules, they have the opportunity to immediately apply what they have learned in an engaging and exciting learning environment. The program is highly engaging & interactive with personal and small group exercises throughout. The program combines interactive sessions, group discussions, videos, presentations, case studies and brainstorming. The training environment combines a variety of tools as follows:

  1. Active

CIUKcourses are nothing like a typical sit-back-and-listen lecture. You’ll engage in a new activity every three to five minutes. Each element is designed to keep you interested, involved, and on your toes.

  2. Social

Engaging with your peers is a big part of what makes CIUKunique. You exchange ideas, offer input, and seek out viewpoints from a community of learners gathered from around the globe. In the process, you learn from each other’s experiences and perspectives.

  3. Case-Based

Immerse yourself in real-world learning. Lessons are brought to life through cases, which put you in the shoes of business leaders. Hear firsthand the challenges they faced, and wrestle with the same issues and imperfect information.

    Our case-Based format
  • Statics Case-Based:
    • more than 500 Cases read during the one-year MBA Program
  • Dynamics Case-Based:
    • Dynamics / Live case studies bring real companies with real business issues into the classroom. Not only can these experiences bring business frameworks to life for students, but they also surface unpredictable situations that further learning. In a typical live case, a leader or team from a local company visits the classroom and presents a business problem the organization is facing. Students are then tasked to develop solutions. Sometimes they do so in a consulting team throughout the semester and then present their solutions to the professor, their classmates, and company representatives. In some instances, teams with the best ideas might present to an executive advisory board, which then chooses the strongest solution.
